Bright Angel Trail

Bright Angel trl_PIThe Bright Angel trail is the best know trail at the canyon. This trail offers a very extensive and rich human history, including pictographs right along the trail if you know where to look. For those who are physically fit and have an adventurous spirit, the mile and a half rest house, three mile rest house, and Indian Gardens wait below with great shade trees and cool water. This is the most popular hiking and backpacking trail in the canyon, on the trail you will see hundreds of other people and on occasion mule trains.

If you don’t mind the crowds and have three or four days, this is a perfect first time backpacking trip for almost any fitness level when done in during our cooler months.
